Aqua

Aqua is a series of Vancouver waterscapes that express the alluring properties of water -- its ability to transform, to mirror and to sustain life. Using acrylic on canvas, I set out to capture the most essential elements of a moment, no matter how simple and ordinary – an orange fern beside a waterfall, a tuft of grass reaching the water, an explosion of Spring colours beside a pond.
