Reflections

Reflections is a personal narrative that continues my exploration of female identity, using image and ghost image to create tension between the facade and the intimate, between socially acceptable behavior and genuine emotions, probing the relationship between public persona and the private. The dual images in mixed media – acrylic on canvas and collage – question the limits imposed by custom and tradition, as well as the impact of self-censoring and self-deception.
